The idea
Four tigers begin on the corners while goats enter the board one at a time. Tigers try to capture goats. Goats win by blocking every tiger move.
Baghchal is played on 25 connected points. Four tigers begin from the corners, and 20 goats enter the board one turn at a time. The app handles the starting layout for you, so the strategy begins with where each goat should be placed.
Players alternate turns along the drawn paths. A normal move travels to a neighboring point, while a tiger can capture by jumping over one goat into an empty point beyond it. Tigers cannot jump over other tigers or capture more than one goat in a single jump.
Tigers win by capturing five goats before the herd can lock them down. Goats win by surrounding the tigers so every tiger is blocked from moving. A rare tiger win can also happen if the goats are left with no legal move.
